The village is lived in year-round, giving Brandnertal its authentic, dual-season charm rather than the feel of a purpose-built resort. Nestled at the end of the valley, the village remains peaceful and scenic. Streets are lined with family-run bakeries, restaurants, and shops, offering a genuine alpine experience, while designer boutiques can be found in nearby resorts like Lech and St. Anton.

Brandnertal offers 65km of pistes spanning Brand and Bürserberg, perfect for families and intermediate skiers who value space and tranquillity over crowded slopes. The Brandnertal ski pass also includes Montafon, opening up over 200km of pistes across nearby valleys. From December to April, skiers can enjoy varied terrain for every level, all framed by stunning views of the Schesaplana massif and the enchanting Alvierbach stream winding through the mountains.

In summer, the valley remains alive with its locals and visitors. Over 400km of hiking trails are on offer from gentle forest walks to challenging descents of the Schesaplana. Golf enthusiasts can play at one of Austria’s most scenic 18-hole mountain courses, while families explore alpine streams, climbing paths, and forest trails. Even off the slopes, Brandnertal offers a serene, active lifestyle in every season.
